"THE EVOLUTION OF ART AND PHOTOGRAPHY
HAS NOT SEEN SUCH A TRANSFORMATION AS IT HAS IN THE DIGITAL AGE. THERE ARE NO LIMITS. THE VISION, CREATIVITY, DREAMS AND FANTASIES ARE ENDLESS" D. Poloway
Doug's career in photography started in the late 70's as a freelance photographer while attending The University of Cincinnati where he majored in communications and The Ohio Visual Art Institute where he studied commercial photography.
From there, he worked as a staff photographer for an audio visual production company as well as pursuing other work in the field. After a few years Doug left the field of photography, and into the sale of fine art and custom design, where he still works today.
The advances in photography and art in the digital age reawakened his love of photography. Now with the help of the computer, he is able to take his work to a new level of creativity. He strives to make his style, content and subjects a personal reflection of his dreams and creativity. Each image is begun with technical proficiency and finished with truthful sensitivity, and discernment.
