An apartment in Rome
|
· |
The project
conceives a design of continuity, that doesn’t want to create elements of separation between interior-exterior, high-low, living-sleeping-services areas.
A particular attention has been given to the kitchen’s design, placed in the entrance zone, integrated in the living room. The minimalist volumes hide the typical elements of a kitchen ( hob, sinks, household appliances); the furniture integrates technical spaces for a high functionality of this space.
The bathroom, including the sanitary fixtures and the washbasin, are made by a craftsman in Spanish travertine, which unities well with the furniture of maple and steal; the bathtub instead is obtained by placing a pane of crystal between two walls of travertine.
The outside reflects the inside and creates this way a continuity prospective. All the furniture and separation wall with the neighbour has been designed using iron, steel and sandy glass.
The apartment overlooks the condominium’s swimming pool and therefore the interior arrangement has been devised in function of the view on the park and swimming pool.
